One Family in Mission

Lutherans and Anglicans from across Canada celebrated Pentecost Sunday in the One Family in Mission online event on May 31 jointly organized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and the Anglican Church of Canada (ACC). Lutherans and Anglicans gathered online together to worship, pray and sing with the Holy Spirit and Giver of Life.

The video event celebrating Pentecost included prayer and song from Lutherans and Anglicans across the country; a Bible reading from the book of Acts; and a reflection from the church leadership comprised of ELCIC National Bishop Susan Johnson, Archbishop Linda Nicholls (ACC) and Archbishop Mark MacDonald (ACC). Another highlight of the online celebration was the reciting of the Lord's Prayer from video submissions across the two churches.
