The garden is now complete. All vegetables have been planted, the garden area has been top dressed with rich soil and seeded welcoming today’s rain. We saved an area that was plentiful with milkweed for our butterflies. What we should expect to see in the coming weeks are tomatoes, cucumbers, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, zucchini squash, carrots, beets, beans, peas, spinach, lettuce, mesclun mix and red, green and jalapeno peppers. Weed’ em and reap. Still looking for a few folks to water in the evening Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Once they are well established, we will not need to water as often. Thanks again to all the folks who helped out making this happen for our St. David community.
